The Availability/Catalogue: Twelve wineries participated, geared to an audience of mainly sommeliers but also wine writers.

The Quote/Background: Ten wines were poured at the seminar led by David Lawrason; the same wines were also in the show itself, along with about two dozen other wines.

The Wines: I was unable to taste all the wines.

The Food: It was a great idea – amuse bouche style food right in front of each pouring table – smoked fish crostini, pastrami and other meats on some kind of platform, chicken samosas, beef in choux paste. Kudos!

The Downside: I was at the dentist, so I could not make the seminar.

The Upside: a good chance to reconnect with BC VQA wines.
