The Date and Time: Monday, September 28, 2015  11AM to 2PM
The Event: A tasting and lunch with Marcelo Papa, Marques de Casa Concha and Casillero del Diablo (Concha y Toro) winemaker.
  The Venue: Le Select
  The Target Audience: wine writers
The Availability/Catalogue: some wines are here already, others will be here.
The Quote/Background: These units of Concha y Toro are moving towards a French influence and a Euro style, basically by using more French oak for that Euro elegance. We were all quite impressed with the newer style of wines. Marcelo took us through the basics of the Conch y Toro philosophy of viticulture and vinification as he led the tasting.

The Downside: I had to leave early for another tasting.
The Upside: a chance to speak with Marcelo Papa again.
