  The Event: Alberto Zenato's Guided Tasting to the Soul of Lugana and the   Heart of Valpolicella.

  The Quote/Background: Zenato's estate is by Lake Garda's microclimate that   allows for an optimal growing season. They are famed for the white Lugana   (trebbiano di Lugana or turbiana) and the red Ripassa (mostly corvina). Alberto   gave his powerpoint presentation and tasting notes on all nine wines today, plus   he freely answered many questions.

  The Downside: I wished more had attended, for this was a great tasting   event, very informative and useful.
