The Event: A tasting with Antonio Macanita, a Portuguese winemaker who crafts wines from the Azores to Alentejo, reflecting local terroirs. This includes his Douro wines which he makes with his sister Joana under the Macanita label.

The Quote/Background: Antonio consults for more than 13 other Portuguese wineries. In 2018 he won at least two Portuguese winemaker awards. He also owns FitaPreta.
