The Event: Tasting of BC icon wines Le Vieux Pin and La Stella.

The Venue: Fine Wine Reserve

The Quote/Background: Both wineries deal with sustainable and/or organic procedures and products. Le Vieux Pin is near Oliver in the south Okanagan, making small batches with different yeast strains – before blending. La Stella is near Osoyoos Lake, south Okanagan, specializing in low yields.

-La Stella La Sophia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, $100 licensee [15.1% ABV]
