The June 7 Event: Chalk, Slate, Gravel mini-portfolio tasting of ciders and some wines.

The Quote/Background: It was a mix of ciders (apple, pear, flavoured), wines, and spirits [Calvados, Gin]. I especially enjoyed the Poire Calvados Domfrontais at $90, the Hors d'Age Calvados Domfrontais at $150, and the 20 Year Old Calvados Domfrontais $205.
The Wines and Ciders: I did not try everything, there were 30+ samples available for tasting.

The Food: bread, water
The Downside: I had just come from a huge LCBO Vintages tasting that morning.
The Upside: Cider is very refreshing.
