The Venue: George Brown College Wine Lab at Chefs House

The Quote/Background: In this sitdown tasting, Ms. Groth talked about her life in Napa and the terroir surrounding the Oakville area for her wines (137 net vineyard acres, planted in 1981/82. They produce cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc wines. More details are at www.grothwines.com.

The Food: bread sticks and water.
The Downside: it was a short tasting
