The Event: Wine tasting with Mike Weersing from Pyramid Valley Vineyards, NZ.

The Venue: Fine Wine Reserve

The Target Audience: wine media and private clients

The Availability/Catalogue: all wines are by private order, by the half-case.

The Quote/Background: all wines are biodynamic. Mike was up here for the Cool Climate Chardonnay Convention in Niagara.

The Food: baguettes and cheeses (blue, goat brie, Louis D'Or 2011 Grand Prix Ontario), water.

The Downside: while I was blazing hot outside traveling, it was nicely cool in the wine cellar.

The Upside: a chance to talk with a winemaker.
