The Food: for the first time, there were red meats and substantial cheeses. Usually, lighter fare was offered, such as salmon and sushi. Either the wine committee has given up, or it is suggesting that German white wines can go with the heavier foods.
The Downside: there were only 25 tables, but there seemed to be more wines at each table. Only 13 agents participated this year.
The Upside: a good chance to catch up with riesling wines.
